I am a graduate of Troy University, where I obtained my Bachelors and Masters degree in Criminal Justice.
I began my career working as a Case Manager at McIntosh Youth Development Center in Darien Georgia. As a Case Manager in a secure custody facility, I was assigned 25 male youth ranging in age from 13 to 17. Beginning my career in Juvenile Justice Services, ignited my passion and drive to holistically serve and bring about change in youth, individuals, families, and social service systems.
I have spent the remainder of my 15+ year career advocating and being a champion of change in the Juvenile Justice and Social Service Field. My work in the field has given me clear vision and understanding of the needs that are impacting youth, individuals, and families who are system involved.
Family is of the utmost importance to me, I am a military spouse and a father of one son. I have had the pleasure of living in six different states in the U.S. and in Europe, My experience due to traveling has allowed me to be exposed to different cultures, shifting my lens, challenging my biases, and my view on life as a whole. This lens provides a rich perspective for my clients as well.
It is my goal by way of my company, iStandard LLC, to bridge the gaps that exist in the lives of youth, individuals, and families through mentoring, information, education, awareness, skill development, and coaching.
